Associate on recruitment path

We have currently 3 paths for member assimilation:
1. Acquire 200 kp as an associate
2. Family/Friends of active member if they're believed a good fit
3. Raid-ready (meets requirements for Discovery team)

New candidates need to discuss their path to membership with the officer for member assimilation and be assigned to one of these 3 paths before they are formally accepted as recruits. The goals for 1+3 should be achieved within the up to 3-month period as a recruit, which also is meant for the kin to get acquainted with the candidate and vice versa. 
The sponsor is first in line to support them in achieving their goal, supported by the officers.


General requirements to become a member are as follows:
  1. Read, understand, and agree with the terms of our ROE.
  2. Ran with the Inklings on 3 events (fellowships, raids).
  3. Donate a 100 stack of crafting materials (tier 6 or higher) to the Kin.
  4. Have been added to the Armour tracker (For the first time, also have them put their class).
  5. Set up Vent to the Inklings server.
  6. Recruit has met with their main's class trainer.

Sponsors, as your recruits meet these requirements, please inform Guth so that this page can be updated.

Recruits who meet the above are invited to the next following membership ceremony which usually takes place late in the month, as required.
Getting Started

If you would like to become a recruit/member of The Inklings, then you will need to complete an application. Speak with Guthfriend or another officer if you have questions. See below for more information on the process.

 Recruits

  1. Register on the website and complete the questioner
  2. Read the Rules of Engagement. It is listed here
  3. Obtain a Sponsor
  4. Meet with your sponsor and learn about how the kin operates and ask any questions you have about the kinship
  5. When directed by your sponsor complete the necessary requirements for membership and sign up for the next membership ceremony
  6. Track your Armour sets on the website Roster page/homepage shout box
  7. Familiarize yourself with the website and features

Sponsors

  1. Meet with your recruits and introduce them to the website and answer any question they have about the kinship or the RoE
  2. Introduce them to some of the posted information about how we operate, what they need to know before becoming a member, and general grouping information that is outlined here
  3. When appropriate direct them to prepare for the membership ceremony and sign up for the next posted event
