This month typically marks a transition for folks as they turn the corner on vacations and head back to school or the seasons ahead.
September has been a month for us as we tried a lot of different games.
The Inks are still haunting: LotRO, GW2, and a fair number lurk and invest hours through Steam and GoG, but several new titles were dipped into, and a couple I share below.
We welcome your thoughts and news whether it be personal or pleasure. The mark of what we had is ever on me, and I do still believe there is a place where they will arrive again.
Two Gaming News items for this month are:
Wildstar announces its closure. On Nov 28, 2018...it will close its servers. I will never forget that time as it was my first exursion from LotRO to another MMO in 10+ years, and one I felt we did as a group, but moreover that we brought so many with us, and experienced something VERY different. While its culture was not a match for me in the long run, it still holds a good memory, and here is a little video where many of you are showcased (Harl, Nakni, Z, Py, Bel, Swipe, Shala, Gili, Mel, Stry). We also met two new good friends who later migrated to GW2 with us Ward and June. Enjoy...
The second is that a new Co-Op LotRO based game announced with Anthlon. You can read about it more here, but we will be watching it.
Other Games we are playing
- Shadows of Mordor
- Shadows of War
- Divinity: Original Sin 2
- Dauntless (beta)
- Lord of the Rings Living Card Game (digital version in beta)
- Chronicles of Elyria completed its 2nd major community event, which was fun in many ways.
P.S. Loc is still saying derogatory things about Elves
P.P.S. Leth waves from the Scotish Highlands - "very LOTROesque, think Lone Lands or the North Farthing."
P.P.P.S. If LotRO ever announced a server that is pre-moria code-base...I am so there (also contemplating a Rift run at level 50 only for our Nov Anniversary or a WildStar run)
Until Oct...we are still here, still in teamspeak...still beating those boses...the old fashioned "Inks-way."
Always pushing the possible...one more time...,
